John Driver is an experienced senior manager with a 'people' focus. His engineering roots show in his down to earth approach to problem solving and communicating his message. He is as at home with technical problems as he is with managerial/operational ones and through his excellent team building skills will strive to achieve the 'owned' solution.
The successful management and implementation of 'change' has been a regular task for John and one that he finds very rewarding. The value of people within organisations is one that he has never underestimated and through involvement in continuous improvement and investors in people programmes he has seen the positive difference that well trained, empowered and enthusiastic employees can make to the success of a business.
John has been involved in a wide variety of assignments including factory relocations, capital plant installations, computer-controlled maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
His career began with an engineering apprenticeship and since gaining an honours degree in mechanical engineering in 1979 has worked in the foundry, industrial machinery mass production, OEM and plastics processing industries. Posts held include Design engineer, Commercial manager, Engineering manager, Chief engineer, Operations manager, Site manager and General manager.
